seems with such a great new album out (maybe his best, imo), he'd be doing interviews, we'd see reviews, etc. has anyone seen anything? i'd love to go back and re-read his interview for kansasfans also, but can't find it anywhere.

I agree with you about the new Mastedon album being really worthwhile and perhaps Johns best effort to date.

Frontiers Records has done some promoting (very little in my opinion) and John is doing and has done some self promotion of the new Mastedon but not very much at all. Unfortunately, and this is just how it is, such music as Mastedon and many other great groups put out will sell VERY small quantities and doesn't interest the mainstream media outlets. Believe it or not... sales of this might be under 2500 unit sold worldwide and quite possibly way, way, way less than that ! Sad, but too true !

I've read a few blurbs and brief reviews about the release, but I don't recall exactly where.

Something that I would suggest that you might try doing is contacting the John Elefante website and ask where you can find reviews of the album or interviews with Elefante. Here is the email address for info at the official John Elefante website. info@johnelefante.com

I really like that CD and gave one to a friend of mine for Christmas. I bought mine as a CD-R from Amazon.com, but I found the one I bought for my friend at a Christian bookstore. I was surprised to see it in an actual store in Baton Rouge. Peace and goodwill.
