Is i true that Steve has had plastic surgery in the past? Everyone i guess changes over the years, but he has changed alot since they started(which is not a bad thing). I just wondered.

Yes???
Maybe that's why he looks so different around the eyes.

Steve was a big influence on me becoming half a fitness nut. (some of you may have seen me post such things before)
It's good to see that he still stays in shape.
Still, being that he was the poster boy of the band and was obviously trading on his looks for quite a while there in around '78- oh' the early nineties -
I would have thought he would have gone the transplant route or do as Phil did.
Just never pictured him donning a basball cap and sporting a grey beard.

i know he's 60 but the beard definitely makes him look older, but i guess he's just being himself! He does look like he's still in good shape though, but his face has changed alot according to the recent pics here. Of course he's older as we all are (: Still love the band and still happy they are together!! thats what counts.

Yes Paty, I can't believe this lightbulb never went off in my head.
I know Steve went through a rough period in his life, so I chalked it up to that.
Still, so many rock stars went through rough periods (Aerosmith) yet they look like the same people.
Steve doesn't really.
I noticed Steve looking very different from the way I remember him years ago.
I couldn't figure out what it was.
Now I see it - eyelids!
Steve had hooded eyes, I used to think (and wish) I looked like him when I was in my teens.
Now I can see by looking at images over the years that he did a bit of the Kenny Rogers thing with his eyelids.
It totally changed his look.

Yes i bought the DVD for theres know place like home, and his eyes definitely are different. The skin looks pretty tight so to speak! I dont know why people do this to themselves-he probably would have been ok without it.

I did hear he had throat surgery years ago for some reason- i read it somewhere(maybe here) i read so much i forget where-anyhow i thought it was polyps. I guess that would change your voice. I still like his voice but thats different too-we're all getting older.

It's kind of odd Patty, because Steve is the "most changed" appearance wise in the band.
Phil, Rich and Robbie look pretty much the same if older.
Kerry looks quite different due to hair loss and weight gain, compared to his long haired skinny version of youth.
But Steve barely looks like the same guy.

Yes, someone here said that he had gotten throat surgery perhaps for polyps.

Throat surgery was in between the '93 and '94 tours. His voice got extremely better in '94. Inspiration for "Under the Knife."

yes i agree Louis-he has changed considerably over the years. Pictures i have seen and videoes are very telling of that! I think he had more than eyelid surgery though. Certainly drug use couldnt have changed him that much.at least not like that. The other members do look the same, only older.Who knows really. He still is attractive to me,although i think he should do something with his hair!
